About
I play many roles in life, as we all do. Wife, mum, daughter, sister, friend, leader, colleague and of course, coach. I am grateful for all of these roles, and the choices I’ve made which have brought me to where I am today. But I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for the wonderful support along the way. Whether it’s the pep talks from my husband, hugs and kind words from my daughter or the warmth of other special people in my life, I know how important it is for us all to have a brilliant network around us. In addition to my nearest and dearest, my experiences of executive coaching (as the client) have brought me new and alternative perspectives, which have helped me to develop my career further and explore who I am and who I want to be. These experiences also helped me move from a dark place into a light spot. Fast forward a little and Light Spot Coaching was born.
I love helping people achieve their goals – as an Abbott World Marathon Majors six star finisher I know how incredible it feels to dream big, work hard, stay focused and hit goals! And more than that, I am driven by helping others flourish and to be the best versions of themselves. It might be cheesy, but it’s true.
My core personal values are kindness, respect, authenticity, keep learning, work hard and lift others up. You’ll experience all of these things in coaching sessions with me and I look forward to working with you soon.

My style of coaching
I’m a relational coach who takes a humanistic approach. What does that mean? Having studied Executive Coaching at Hult Ashridge, I believe progress in coaching is made through the strength of the relationship we build together. A humanistic approach really means ‘person-centered’. In all of my coaching work, I am non-judgemental and supportive. And I follow the Ashridge Code of Conduct, Code of Ethics and Code of Practice.
I really enjoy working with individuals who know they can offer more to their careers. They might have lost confidence along the way, or feel stuck and want some space and a thinking partner to discover what options they have. Perhaps they have been made redundant, and want some support with their next move. Or maybe they’re a working parent feeling overwhelmed or bubbling with guilt to name a few.
And I love helping those lining up their next promotion, transitioning in their career or contemplating the leap into starting their own business.
If any of these sound familiar to you, book in a complimentary discovery call today for us to plot your path forward for tomorrow.
